Chaalbaaz: Sunny Deol and Sridevi’s ‘Chaalbaaz’ is one of the iconic films of Bollywood. Fans still like this film very much. In a recent conversation, director Pankaj Parashar revealed that Sridevi wanted to do innovative steps for a song. In such a situation, Sunny Deol needed to dance and he was so scared of performing in front of the actress that he disappeared from the set for two hours.

Actually, during the interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Pankaj told that we had only three days to shoot the song ‘Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’ of Chaalbaaz because the strike was going on. He said that Sridevi wanted him to shoot the song. Choreographer Saroj Khan needed to come up with something unique, she said, “Saroj ji called me and said, ‘Madam is happy, but now I have to come up with unique steps. ‘ I said, ‘We will make Sunny dance’.”
Sunny had disappeared from the set for two hours
He further said, “So, we started shooting, we were all coming up with ideas on the spot. Then, it was time for Sunny to dance. He looked towards the stairs and said, ‘I’ll just come from the bathroom.’ He never came back. There was no trace of him for two hours.” When asked whether Sunny was afraid of doing the steps, Pankaj said, “Obviously.”
Pankaj further said, “Meanwhile, Sridevi kept asking, ‘Where is the hero?’ Then he came back and did it. To this day I don’t know where he went. There was no trace of him for two hours. We all kept waiting. But he did it. And the entire unit applauded.” After this Sridevi had said, ‘You have shot a classic. I still remember his words.
