Pragya Got US Scholarship To Study Law: It is said that if courage is high then no destination is difficult. No one had ever imagined that the daughter of a cook in the Supreme Court would go to America to study and that too on scholarship. This feat has been done by Pragya who has got not one but two scholarships and now she will decide with the help of which scholarship she will continue her studies. On this occasion, Chief Justice Chandrachud Singh along with other Supreme Court judges gave a standing ovation to Pragya.
Supreme Court judges encouraged
Pragya, daughter of Ajay Kumar Samal, who worked as a cook in the Supreme Court of India, has achieved this position with her hard work. On this happy occasion, Chief Justice Chandrachud Singh honored Pragya and along with him, other judges of the Supreme Court also encouraged Pragya. Now 25 year old Pragya will go to US to pursue Masters degree in Law.
have received two scholarships
Pragya has received two scholarships. One from University of Michigan and the other from University of California. Now it is up to them as to how they continue their studies. Presently he is a law researcher at the Center for Research and Planning of the Supreme Court.
remained a consistent topper
Pragya has studied from Amity Law School, Noida. She remained topper in LLB course for three consecutive years. While Berkeley has offered him a $30,000 scholarship, Michigan has increased it to $50,000.
Pragya got excited
On this occasion, the Chief Justice gifted him three books on the Indian Constitution which were signed by all the judges of the Apex Court. Pragya became emotional and expressed her gratitude to everyone with folded hands and also touched the feet of the Chief Justice. On this occasion, the Chief Justice said that Pragya has traveled till here on her own strength, but care will be taken that if she needs any kind of help further, then her studies are not hampered.
