What Does NTA Says In Supreme Court On NEET UG 2024 Case: The hearing in the NEET UG case is going on in the Supreme Court and amid the debate and arguments, NTA has put forward its side strongly. The court also asked many questions to the agency and also sought details of the top 100 students. The hearing will resume in the court shortly after lunch. Meanwhile, NTA has said some things which are important for all the candidates to know. Especially for those who are demanding cancellation of the exam.
Some students did not get marks, many got marks
NTA said that the candidates who have scored good marks cannot be called a systematic failure of the NEET exam. In fact, during the hearing, the issue also came up that the toppers or candidates who scored 720 out of 720 marks are not from the same state or any particular category or roll number. In such a situation, this allegation should be investigated properly.

NTA also said that this time 25% reduction has been made in NEET syllabus. That is why candidates have scored well in the exam. Good scores should not be seen as if it has happened due to some irregularity or fraud.
On the leaked videos, NTA says that these videos which are circulating on social media apps have been created in such a way that the entire story of the paper leak can be told. They have been edited and designed to provoke the candidates and spread rumours.
Do not link the arrest to paper leak
On the question of toppers, NTA also said that this is absolutely correct and no question should be raised on this. As far as the arrests from Patna in Bihar and Sawai Madhepur in Rajasthan are concerned, these are for candidates involved in wrongdoings, it has nothing to do with the paper leak.
NTA also said that CBI is doing its work and it would be wrong to say now that deserving candidates did not get a chance because this selection process is completely based on rank.
Increased syllabus shown to the court
While NTA says that the syllabus of NEET has been reduced, the lawyer of one of the petitioners showed the syllabus to the court and said that the syllabus has increased. Meanwhile, the court expressed displeasure over calling the IIT report false. During the hearing of the case, the court expressed displeasure over calling the report of IIT Madras false and said that you cannot call the report of any institute wrong without any solid basis.
