Milk (full cream) – 1 liter
Coconut grated – 2 tbsp
Almonds chopped – 8-10
Pistachio slices – 1 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 cup (as per taste)

Sesame Kheer Recipe
To make Til Kheer on Makar Sankranti, first take the sesame seeds and clean them. After this, put sesame seeds in the pan and fry them on low flame. Keep in mind that the sesame has to be roasted until its color turns light pink and the sesame starts crackling. After this, turn off the gas and let the sesame seeds cool down. After the sesame seeds cool down, grind them coarsely.

Pour milk in a big vessel and keep it on medium flame to heat. It will take 7-8 minutes for the milk to heat up. When the milk starts boiling, add crushed sesame seeds to it and mix with the help of a ladle. After this grate the coconut and put it in the kheer. Then chop the dry fruits and mix them in the kheer. After cooking the kheer for 2-3 minutes, mix sugar according to taste.

After adding sugar, cover the kheer and cook it for at least 6-7 minutes. During this, keep stirring the kheer from time to time with the help of a ladle or a big spoon. Then turn off the gas.
