TMKOC Sonu Aka Palak Sindhwani: The acting journey has not been easy for Palak Sindhwani, who became popular by playing the role of ‘Sonu’ in the popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. He has seen a lot of struggle before stepping into ‘Taarak Mehta’. Sometimes she used to stay in PG, sometimes had to change house again and again to save little money.

Palak Sindhwani, who became the new Sonu of ‘Taarak Mehta’ by replacing Nidhi Bhanushali, had told in an interview to ETimes how she had to leave the house to save every penny. Palak had said, “I used to live in PG and have changed many houses in Mumbai. I had to change house in Mumbai to save Rs 2000. Finally we are living in 1 BHK, then 2 BHK and then 3 BHK apartments.” Palak had said that now she wants to buy her own house and she is planning for it.
Essential items were not available in the house
Palak Sindhwani had also told that when he lived in a 1 BHK flat, he neither had a dining table nor the condition of the couch. Palak had said that after joining ‘Taarak Mehta’, he along with his brother had decided to start a YouTube channel, but the condition of the house was such that they could not show on camera. After the lockdown, Palak had no money left. In such a situation, he thought of starting YouTube. The actress said that she along with her brother prepared a budget of Rs 15,000 and brought couches, lamps and paintings. The actress is very happy with her career.
