Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Rejects Inclusion of Manusmriti in Syllabus, Vows to withdraw Proposal

Vice Chancellor of Delhi University (DU) Yogesh Singh on Tuesday protested against the inclusion of the ancient Sanskrit treatise β€˜Manusmriti’ in the curriculum of Graduate History (Honors) and said that the university would not accept any material promoting division in society. Along with this, students including many student organizations have also started protesting against this.
