Bihar government is encouraging farmers to cultivate expensive vegetables. To increase the income of farmers from the cultivation of such vegetables, Bihar government is starting ‘Vegetable Development Scheme’. Under which the state government will give subsidy of up to 75 percent to the farmers for cultivating some selected varieties of vegetables.
