COVID-19 Cases In India: The Center issued an advisory to the states on Monday (December 18) in view of the increase in coronavirus cases and the detection of the first case of JN.1 variant in India. States have been requested to maintain constant monitoring of the Covid situation. States will have to report and monitor district-wise SARI and ILI cases on a regular basis.
