Joshimath Sinking: Cracks have started appearing in some more houses in Joshimath, Uttarakhand. According to the report of the District Disaster Management Authority, the cracks have now reached 9 wards of the urban area. There are 147 houses which are in completely unsafe zone. Till now cracks have reached 760 houses. Wards 1, 4, 5 and 7 of Joshimath have been declared unsafe.
