Recently a new research has revealed why transgender and disabled people in India are not taking the Covid vaccine. In this study, people from these communities gave many reasons for not taking the vaccine, including their special needs and past bad experiences. Research shows that these communities have low trust in health services and are hesitant to take the vaccine due to lack of government initiatives.
