A case of ‘digital arrest’ of a 73 year old man and embezzlement of more than Rs 25 lakh has come to light in Ranip area of Ahmedabad. The victim has been identified as Manu Patel, who has filed a complaint in the Cyber Crime Branch. Scammers have carried out this fraud by posing as Mumbai Cyber Crime and Customs officers.
