E-Shram Platform: The Government of India started the e-shram portal for all the people working in the unorganized sector in the year 2021. On Tuesday, September 17, the Government of India has issued instructions to all e-commerce companies to get their gig workers registered on the e-shram portal. The Ministry of Labor and Employment of India has issued this order to aggregators like Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto and Urban Company.
