Syria Civil War: Even after the fall of Bashar-al-Assad’s government in Syria, the hatred of the rebels has not diminished. On Wednesday (December 11, 2024), the tomb of Hafez al-Assad, father of Bashar al-Assad, was set on fire by the rebels. Its pictures are also going viral on social media, in which some rebels are seen standing on the burning coffin. The tomb of Hafez al-Assad was built in the western Syrian province of Latakia.
