Digital Fraud: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has recently launched a major campaign to curb fraudulent international calls and cyber crimes coming from South-East Asian countries like Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. With an aim to prevent digital fraud, DoT has identified around 4.8 lakh fake mobile connections in these countries. 2 lakh mobile connections closed #I4Cin collaboration with DoT, has successfully blocked 17,000 WhatsApp accounts used by cyber criminals from South East Asia.
