On May 25, driver Akhilesh Yadav and his accomplice Ranjit arrived on a scooter to murder Mohini Dubey (58), wife of retired IAS officer Devendra Dubey, in Sector 20 of Indiranagar, Lucknow. Ranjit hit Mohini on the head with a screwdriver and Akhilesh strangled her with a dupatta. After this, both of them ran away after looting jewellery worth one crore.
