Iran Sentences Five To Death, 11 Including Three Children Jailed For Killing Soldier

Iran Violence: Iran’s judiciary said on Tuesday that Iran has sentenced five people to death for killing a member of the Basij paramilitary force during nationwide protests against the death of Mahsa Amini. Judiciary spokesman Masoud Setayeshi told a news conference that 11 other people, including three children, have been sentenced to long prison terms for murder, for which the sentence can be appealed.
