Reporter’s Diary: The number of journalists killed in action this year across the world has increased by 30 percent compared to last year. A report released by the Brussels-based International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) said that 67 journalists and media persons have been killed worldwide so far this year, compared to 47 last year.
