Storm Dana hit the coast of Odisha late on Thursday night. It made landfall at around 12:45 pm in Dhamra in Bhadrak district of Odisha. At the time of its landfall, Dana’s speed was 120 km per hour. However, gradually its speed has decreased somewhat. According to the Meteorological Department, its speed will reduce in Odisha by Friday evening (25 October 2024).
