Police force was deployed in sensitive areas on Friday in view of the possibility of protest after passing the Waqf Amendment Bill. The prayers of Juma were offered amidst stringent security arrangements. Police duties have been installed in mixed population. PAC and police were stationed around the mosques since noon.
