Good news for ME and MTech candidates, UGC may remove the requirement of NET in these subjects

To become faculty in universities, candidates can now appear for NET exam in the subject of their choice, no matter what the subject was in their graduation or post graduation. Regarding this, the Union Education Ministry has also submitted a draft for 2025 in the UGC. Since the requirement of graduation or post graduation subject for NET exam is no more, now the candidate can appear in any subject.
