Supreme Court: The Supreme Court on Saturday (January 27) stayed the order of CBI inquiry by the single bench of Calcutta High Court into alleged irregularities in issuing certificates to the reserve category. The court stayed all proceedings before the Calcutta High Court and issued notice to the West Bengal government and the petitioner. The Supreme Court will hear the case of irregularities related to fake certificate scam on January 29.
