A campaign has been launched by the Government of India to eliminate lymphatic filariasis disease. Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav has launched a nationwide bi-annual mass drug administration campaign to eliminate lymphatic filariasis. The second phase has been started for the year 2024.
