The government telecom department has taken strict steps to stop fake calls. Recently the department blocked 1.77 crore mobile numbers. These were being used to make fake calls. For the security of more than 122 crore telecom users of the country, the Telecom Department has taken this step in collaboration with TRAI. Together they have intensified action against fake calls.
