But do you know that there are many places in India where taking photographs is banned. Not only this, if you get photographed at these places, you can also be sent to jail.

Taking photos on railway tracks is prohibited

Let us tell you that taking selfies and making photo-videos is prohibited on the railway track. Under Section 145 and 147 of the Railway Act 1989, photography and videography is prohibited on railway platforms and tracks. Anyone who violates railway laws can face both fine and punishment.

Taking photos and videos is prohibited outside many major national buildings, monuments and offices of the country. For example, for security reasons, you cannot take photographs from inside or outside Rashtrapati Bhavan, Prime Minister’s residence, National Memorial, security agencies including CBI. If caught doing this, you may be immediately arrested, because making photos/videos around these buildings is considered a national security threat.
