Tamilnadu Government New Rule For Online Gaming Companies Have To Enroll Themselves In Gaming Commission


Online Gaming: Tamil Nadu government has made a new rule for online games. Under this, now the companies making the country or foreign games will have to register themselves in the Online Gaming Commission. Those who do this, their games will be promoted. For registration, companies will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1 lakh to the secretary of the Tamil Nadu Gaming Association so that they can get the game registration certificate. After submitting the file, the association will review it and within 15 days it can accept or reject it and take action according to the rules.

If there is wrong information in any file, the association will issue an explanatory notice to that company, to which the company will have to respond within 15 days. This new rule regarding online gaming has come when the Tamil Nadu Assembly sent a bill to Governor RN Ravi to ban online games in the state.

The chairman of the association will be appointed for supervision

This new rule made by the government has been updated in the act related to online gaming and will be implemented in the state after April 2023. Along with this, the government has also talked about making a chairman for the gaming association. The chairman will hold his office for 5 years or till the age of 70 years whichever is earlier. While issuing a new rule, the government said that the once appointed chairman will not take over the responsibility again.

Let us tell you, the government has banned online gambling or betting games in the state. Actually, many people had drowned their life and property in debt because of this game. After public outcry in the state, the government has banned games like online gambling, rummy and poker so that the environment of the state does not deteriorate.
