When fake mawa started coming, I stopped making trees
Udaylal’s trees were once liked. But over time, with the increasing trend of fake mawa in the markets, making pedas at Udaylal’s shop was stopped. On asking the reason behind this, the shop owner Ashish Jain says that along with their sweet taste, people liked the cleanliness and quality of the place. But, he stopped making peda due to the fake mawa coming in the market. So that the trust of customers towards them remains. Uday Lal’s Jalebi, Besan Chaki, Boondi, and Khopra Pak sweets are very famous even today.
6 generations making sweets
Today 6 members run the shop together in a family that has been making sweets for 6 generations. Another specialty here is that even today they make sweets with their own hands. Keep servants at work but people like only the sweets made by them.
