Shop operator Avneet Aggarwal informed that ‘Gyani Ice Cream’ is liked not only in Dehradun but in many states across the country. According to the information received, Gyani Ice Cream was started in the year 1956 in Fatehpuri, Delhi under the name of ‘Gyani Di Hatti’. Actually, it was started by Giani Gurcharan Singh, who migrated to Delhi from Faisalabad, Pakistan, and was an ancestral confectioner.
