More than half a dozen chicken-litti stalls
Not just one but more than half a dozen stalls are set up at this place in Chhapra market. People come here from 11 am to 10 pm to eat chicken-litti. Let us tell you that not one or two but more than half a dozen chicken-litti stalls are set up near Thana Chowk in Chhapra city. The Litti Chaap here is quite famous in terms of taste.
Sale of more than 30 kg chicken daily
In a conversation with Local 18, shopkeeper Sunil Kumar told that he has been selling chicken litti here for the last 10 years. To make it tasty, grind home spices and add it. In which garlic, ginger, coriander, round chilli, meat masala, garam masala are also used. He told that people come here from every corner of Siwan, Gopalganj and Chhapra districts to enjoy Litti Chaap. Here two pieces of chicken and two littis are available for Rs 70. More than 30 kg of chicken is sold every day. Three brothers run a stall together.
People stand in line for Litti
Customer Nitish Kumar Bharti told Local 18 that his house is Siwan. But whenever one has to come to Chhapra for some work, the people here definitely eat Litti and return home. I have been tasting the Chaap Litti here for the last 5 years. Told that the chicken litti here tastes very tasty. Due to huge crowd at the stall, one has to stand in queue to eat Litti. After waiting for an hour one can get a plate of chicken litti. Told that even during the summer season there is a lot of crowd here. In the cold season, one has to stand in line for hours for Litti Chicken.
