A heart-wrenching incident took place at Mohalla Samad Nagar of the city in Mahoba district at around 10 pm on Monday night. When a son was not born, the husband, under the influence of alcohol, killed his wife and two daughters by pelting them with stones. After committing the crime, the accused fled after locking the house from outside.
On the information of the accused’s father, the police took possession of the dead bodies of the three. Devendra Vishwakarma, a resident of Samadnagar, used to take care of the family by selling clothes. On Monday evening, he reached home in a drunken state as usual and started arguing with his wife, after which there was a fight between the two.
Enraged by this, the husband crushed the head of his wife Rajkumari (35) with a stone, due to which she died on the spot. Two daughters Aarushi (09) and Sonakshi (05) who ran to save their mother were also crushed to death with stones. After executing the incident, the accused fled from the spot by locking the outside of the house.
Neighbors opened the gate on making noise
Devendra’s father Thakurdin came down after a long argument, he came to know about the incident. On making noise, the neighbors gathered and broke open the lock of the house from outside. SP Aparna Gupta, Additional SP Satyam, CO Rampravesh Rai reached the spot with the police force. After this the investigation was started.
Sometimes roti, sometimes dal was not good, there used to be a dispute
The father of the accused told that his son was addicted to drugs. Due to not having a son, he used to argue with his wife every day. Sometimes he used to argue daily by saying that bread and sometimes vegetables were not good. The SP has constituted police teams to arrest the accused. The surrounding area is being raided.
He used to argue with his wife everyday on small matters.
After the birth of two daughters, Devendra’s wife Ramkumari often had estrangement. After selling clothes by hawking, Devendra used to quarrel with his wife after reaching home in an inebriated condition, sometimes saying that the pulses were thin and sometimes small. No one used to pay much attention due to the daily dispute between daughter-in-law and son.
Father said – often he used to make both of them calm
On Monday night, the son carried out the big incident. Thakurdeen, a resident of Samadnagar, has sold tea and paan at the Hamirpur octroi. Devendra used to sell clothes. In the absence of a son, he used to argue with his wife on small matters along with taunting her every day. Thakurdeen told that often he used to pacify the matter by intervening.
