Dehradun. You can enjoy many types of tea at the Half B.Com Chai Wala shop in Jakhan, Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Actually, the shop owner Deepak Saini had to leave his studies midway due to problems at home, he could not complete his B.Com, after which he opened a shop in the name of Half B.Com Chai Wala and started his business.
Giving information to Local 18, shopkeeper Deepak Saini said that he is a resident of a small village in Haridwar, his father used to work in a clothes showroom. He was the eldest son of the family. Along with B.Com, he was preparing for a government job but the way he was seeing the paper leak cases, he lost interest in studies and had to leave B.Com as well. After this he came to Dehradun. Here also he did not have any job. With some savings, he opened a small tea shop because he used to make very good tea since childhood. Deepak says that many times he had to sleep on an empty stomach while staying away from the family. Gradually his hard work started paying off and today people come to him to drink tea even from far-off areas of Dehradun.
Deepak tea is made in a brass pot
The formula for the taste of the tea of Half B.Com Chaiwala is also different. Deepak says that we make tea in 100% pure milk which is first boiled, after this good quality tea leaves, cardamom and ginger are added to it and it is boiled and then some of our spices are also added to it which enhance its magical taste. He said that we have also kept the price of the tea at Rs 15 so that students etc. can enjoy it.
