Teachers teaching in government schools of the capital have accused Education Minister Atishi. They allege that apart from teaching, they are also asked to do other tasks, which directly affects the studies of students. They said that the number of teachers in schools is already less. Despite this, the vacant posts of teachers are not being filled. This is putting additional pressure on the teachers currently working here. They appealed to Atishi to pay attention to this.

During a press conference organised by the Government School Teachers’ Association (GSTA) at the Constitution Club on Monday, the General Secretary of the Association, Ajay Veer Yadav, alleged that the government is putting more emphasis on the construction of schools, due to which the playgrounds have vanished. Due to this, students are not able to participate in physical activities. Not only this, he also said that teachers are not safe inside the schools. He appealed to the Education Minister to work in this direction.

He also alleged that the future of 18 lakh students studying in government schools is in danger. He said that the situation of the schools whose names have been changed by the Delhi government has not changed yet. There are no teachers for specific subjects in the schools. In such a situation, students are far away from studying those subjects.
