Angered by molestation, a teenage girl hanged herself in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. When the family members saw it, they were shocked. Hearing the scream, the people of the village also gathered. The matter is of a village in Kishni police station area. The village resident girl had gone to the fields to defecate on Tuesday afternoon. Subhash Rathore from the village was standing there. He caught the girl. After this he started doing dirty things with her. The girl made noise. The accused beat her while abusing in anger.
He also threatened that if you told anyone about the incident, he would kill you and your family members. After being freed from the clutches of the accused, the girl reached home dejected. In the evening, when there was no one at home, she committed suicide by hanging herself with her dupatta in the rooftop kitchen.
After some time, when the family members reached home, they screamed after seeing the body of the girl hanging. On receiving the information, Inspector in-charge Anil Singh reached the spot with the police team. He removed the body from the noose and sent it for post-mortem. On the complaint of the father, a case of molestation, beating, threatening and abetment to suicide has been registered against the accused under the POCSO Act. Police is looking for the accused.
CO Bhogaon Sunil Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the father of the deceased. Police are raiding in search of the accused. The accused will be arrested and sent to jail as soon as possible.
