According to the police, the woman has been identified as Bhogireddy Trishna (31 years). Women run digital marketing businesses. Two years ago, she fell in love with TV anchor Pranav Sistla after seeing his pictures on a matrimonial website.

After this, Trishna searched for Pranav’s phone number from somewhere and contacted Pranav through instant messaging app WhatsApp. On this Pranav told that some unknown person has used his photo and created a fake account on the matrimony site. He has also lodged a complaint regarding this in the cyber crime police station.

When the anchor refused to marry, a kidnapping conspiracy was hatched.

Despite refusal from the anchor, Trishna continued sending messages to anchor Pranav. Feeling upset, Pranav blocked her number. Troubled by this, Trishna decided to marry the anchor. He allegedly planned to kidnap Pranav and hired four people for it. These people also installed a tracking device on Pranav’s car to keep an eye on his activities. On February 11, hired criminals allegedly kidnapped the TV anchor and took her to the woman’s office. There all four of them also beat up Pranav.

Freed himself by agreeing to talk to the woman

Police said that fearing for his life, TV anchor Pranav agreed to answer the woman’s call. After this promise the miscreants let Pranav go. After leaving from there, Pranav registered a case at Uppal police station under sections of kidnapping, wrongful restraint and wrongful confinement. During the investigation, the police caught the accused woman along with four people whom she had hired to carry out the kidnapping. Further investigation is underway.
