TRAI Alert Smartphone Users: If you are a smartphone user then you need to be careful. Actually, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued an alert regarding fake calls, in which it has been said that scammers are calling innocent people and threatening to disconnect their numbers.

Along with this, TRAI has also clarified that no such call has been made by the telecom customers in which there has been a mention of disconnecting the mobile number.

Warning message is being sent by TRAI

TRAI is also sending a warning message to the users regarding this. The Ministry of Communication said in a statement that these scammers are making international scam calls to the people of India by showing Indian numbers, which are being done by cyber criminals sitting abroad by manipulating the calling line identity.

The telecom department had issued instructions to service providers to block international fake calls coming on Indian landline numbers. In a statement issued by TRAI, it is said that if you receive any call from Telecom/TRAI on your phone, disconnect it immediately because we are not making any such calls. You need to complain about these calls immediately.

You can complain about your eyes

According to the Telecom Ministry, you can complain about such fake calls by going to the Chakshu facility on Sanchar Sathi. This portal helps in protecting you from many frauds apart from cyber crime. To complain about fraud calls, you can go to the Sanchar Sathi portal and see Citizen Centric Services. From here you can select Chakshu and provide medium, category, date and time, your name and other information.
