Aligarh CDO Akanksha Rana inspected ODF Plus declared Satha village of Block Jawan on 9 February. The 13th class program was being held in the upper primary school Satha here. On this the CDO directed BSA to suspend the in-charge headmaster Shiv Kumar Sharma. The District Panchayat Raj Officer was instructed to take action against the head.
58 students were found in the school, on February 8, 116 students had come. Cook Saroj Devi said that food is prepared for about 60 children every day. On this the CDO said that it seems that fake attendance is being recorded in the mid-day meal. Financial irregularities were found in the composition grant received by the school. Five trees have been cut in the school premises. The library built in the NPELG room was also not found operational.
In the village, garbage collection is being done from about 300 families using two garbage vehicles and about Rs 2500 is being collected as cleaning fee. Instructions were also given for the management of dry waste. An adverse entry was given to the Gram Panchayat Officer for not having Aadhar link related to Ayushman Card. Instructions were given to the District Panchayat Raj Officer to take action against the Panchayat Assistant.
