In the shared clip, the song of the film is from Deewani Mastani in which Deepika is seen dancing. Deepika’s husband and actor Ranveer Singh has also given his reaction on this video clip shared by the Academy.

The official Instagram handle of The Academy has shared the video of the Bollywood actress’ popular song ‘Deewani Mastani’ on its page. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, ‘Deewani Mastani’ is a hit track from filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Bajirao Mastani. Apart from Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra also played lead roles in this film.

While sharing the video, the Academy wrote, “Deepika Padukone is performing on “Deewani Mastani” (sung by Shreya Ghoshal) from the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.” This video is going viral on social media. While thanking Oscar for recognizing Hindi cinema, Deepika Padukone has also shared this post on her Insta story.
