The bird broke the government seal.. How did this happen? Corporation officials kept thinking holding their heads.

Bhopal. Vintage Villa Marriage Garden located on Sehore Road was attached by the Municipal Corporation due to outstanding property tax of Rs 82 lakh. Instead of collecting property tax, the garden operator reopened the garden by breaking the lock. When the corporation staff inquired, the operator said that ‘the birds used to sit on the lock, they tore the sealing cloth.’

Even the Municipal Corporation officers were shocked after hearing the strange logic of the operator. The operator could not even explain how events like birthday parties and marriages were being organized at the property which had been sealed.

The operator earned more than Rs 50 lakh

According to the corporation staff, around 15 functions have taken place here since the attachment. It is estimated that the operator has earned more than Rs 50 lakh during this period.

Different methods of breaking locks
The lock of the main gate of the banquet hall is missing, while to open the lock of the second gate, the chain was removed by unscrewing the nut. The door latch of the office was cut open and later welded.

FIR not registered

The corporation had sent the file to senior officials to register an FIR against the marriage garden operator two weeks ago, but no decision has been taken yet. This matter also raises questions on the functioning of the Municipal Corporation.
