Shopkeeper Suraj told that this area of Thana Chowk of Chapra city is famous for Litti and chicken. More than a dozen shops get decorated here every day. Special care has to be taken of cleanliness at this place. There is a crowd of customers at all the shops. There is no shopkeeper here who does not make sales of more than Rs 5,000 daily. Suraj told that he himself sells 15 to 20 kg of chicken every day. The family’s livelihood depends on the earnings from this shop. Now this Chowk has become famous for Litti and Chicken in the surrounding districts also.
