A bank employee wrote in his post on the online platform Reddit that he received a call from a newly-wed bride, who had gone on honeymoon with her husband. She said, ‘Our card is not working and I have come on honeymoon with my husband, what is the problem with you guys?’ Since her name was not on the card, she got the bank employee to talk to her about her husband. The husband gave the phone to the wife after verification. The employee checked the account and told his wife that it had zero balance. The angry wife told that when they left, there were Rs 5 lakh 30 thousand in her husband’s account, so where did this money go?
The truth came out again
The employee quickly checked and informed that all the money had gone to ‘unpaid child support’ in Texas. Hearing this, the husband became furious and shouted that he had not asked him to do so. The wife was shocked to hear that the funds were being used for her husband’s child because she had no idea that her husband already had a child. Her voice became tearful on the phone itself and she was in deep shock. After reading about this story, users said that this was a wonderful start to their marriage.
