The deer’s horns were shining like light in the dark, the pictures created a stir, there was a horrifying truth hidden behind them!

After seeing the picture, it is very important to know its truth. But sometimes it seems that some pictures go viral just like that. But the reason for them going viral is probably the same curiosity that how did such a picture get taken. Pictures of a reindeer are going viral on social media whose horns are shining like a tubelight in the dark.

Recently, two pictures of a deer with bright horns from the @AMAZINGNATURE account on Twitter (formerly Twitter) are being liked a lot and have been viewed by millions of people. The interesting thing is that these pictures are true and how this happened has also been revealed in the post that how thousands of reindeer get such bright horns.

The post states that in Finland, the horns of these special deer are painted with reflective paint so that drivers can see them at night and avoid any accident. Traffic accidents involving these animals are very common.

It was first introduced by the Finnish Reindeer Herders’ Association in 2014 in response to the estimated 4,000 reindeer killed in traffic accidents each year. “The aim is to prevent traffic accidents,” the organization said at the time. The spray is currently being tested on fur, but it may be even more effective on antlers, as they are visible from all sides.

Unfortunately, by 2016, the association reported that this method, along with other measures such as hanging reflectors around deer necks, had not been successful in reducing deer mortality. The association reported that drivers often mistook deer with reflectors for people in the dark, thinking they would not run out into the middle of the road when they see a car’s headlights approaching.

In response to this post on X, some users also shared more such pictures. This post has been shared by 1 crore 20 lakh people.
