Here Sushil Kumar serves gram chhola with litti in a wonderful manner.

This shop at Mohania Chowk has been operating for the last 30 years. Shopkeeper Sushil Kumar told that he has learned the way to make Litti and Gram Chhola from his father. After his father’s death, he is now handling this business himself. Many changes have also been made to improve the shop. Apart from Litti, other dishes are also available to eat here.

Sushil told that he is able to run the shop better because he takes care of every reaction of the customers. Changes are also made in the dishes from time to time so that the customers always get a different taste. Sushil told that since 1995, his father Late was living near Mohania Chowk. Ashok Prasad used to sell litti and gram chhola in Gumti. The taste of Litti and Gram Chhola was so wonderful that the number of customers kept increasing.

Sushil told that he has also studied till BA. 6 people have also been given employment through this business. He told that Litti is very soft and you will not find it anywhere in Gopalganj. Keep a sponge on one side and litter on the other. The litter of this shop will become soft and hence the sponge will fail. Now even nearby shopkeepers have started copying. Even after this we are not able to make this kind of Litti.

There is a sale of 800 plates of litti and gram chhola daily.
Sushil told that 800 plates of gram chole served with litti are sold in this shop every day. Customers are fed a plate of litti and gram chhola for Rs 30. Four littis and juicy gram chhola are served to the customers in a plate. In the morning, along with Litti, a vegetable made from a mixture of gram, potato and soybean or gram chhola is given. Curd and chutney are also mixed in the vegetable. This shop earns up to Rs 10,000 daily. Sushil told that 50 kg flour, 20 kg gram and 25 kg potatoes are consumed daily.
