The lover wanted to take revenge, he put phone numbers all over the city, then the woman started getting calls with strange voices

A mother has revealed how she was once harassed by repeated phone calls. Sharing her experience on social media, she said that her ex-boyfriend had put her number all over the city to take revenge for the breakup. After this, she started getting calls from strangers doing excellent imitations of the character Chewbacca from the Star Wars film franchise.

Her ex-boyfriend’s Star Wars prank promised a reward of around £5,500 to anyone who could imitate the ‘best’ Chewbacca, and Queensland mother of three Jessica Sewell, 33, was soon receiving calls at all hours of the day and night. Jessica took it in her stride and despite finding the constant calls annoying, told the press she found the prank quite funny.

Speaking to 9News at the time, she said, “This has been the most childish breakup I’ve ever had. All he had to say was ‘I don’t love you anymore, I want to move on.'” Jessica said his vindictive actions further solidified her decision to end the relationship.

After two weeks of constant voicemails filled with Wookiee growls, Jessica was losing her sense of humour as the constant ringing began to disturb her children’s sleep. Speaking to the Cairns Post, Jessica expressed her disappointment, “Someone called and said they thought it must have been done as a joke because they had seen (a man) putting up posters,” and added, “It hurts my feelings.”
