According to the Mirror’s report, Shabaz Ashraf and his wife Shakira had a ancestral home in North London. A few days back both of them got it renovated. But by mistake, 2.5 inches of land of neighboring Avtar Dhinjan got covered. At first there was a lot of debate. Shabaz said that he would pay for it but Avtar was not ready to accept it. He took the matter to the court and said that Ashraf had made this with the intention of harassing him.

Dampness and mildew coming in the house
Avtar told the Central London County Court that his house was damp and moldy due to the new construction. No air comes from outside. Ashraf requested and claimed that only 2 inches of land has been encroached upon and that too by mistake. We are ready to compensate for this. But the avatar did not agree. He said, this loss is so much that it cannot be compensated by money. Eventually, the court formed a committee and directed it to be investigated.

What did the court say after all?
After investigation, the Joint Expert Surveyor said that there has been an encroachment of 68 mm. It is also becoming clear from seeing the pictures. It can also harm their house. The judge also found that Ashraf did not stop the work despite being told in advance that the construction was going wrong. The court said in its order that Ashraf will have to demolish the construction at the disputed site immediately. Also, the neighboring Avtar Dhinjan will have to pay the full amount of legal fees. Its cost was estimated to be around 2 lakh pounds i.e. 2 crore rupees. The court also said that the boundary of Avatar which existed earlier, would have been kept exactly the same.
