Revealed through e-mail
Another Swedish politician, Teresa Carvalho, also admitted on Twitter that she too has bananaphobia and understands her colleague Paulini’s problem. According to local media outlet Expressen, they have got hold of some leaked emails in which the minister’s staff has asked to remove the bananas from the front before his official visits. This is a very rare phobia, but as soon as the victim sees bananas in front of a person, he starts feeling fear, anxiety and the person starts trembling. He starts feeling suffocated.
Minister is taking help from doctor
The e-mail received was an e-mail related to a VIP lunch, in which it has been asked to remove bananas from the food. The e-mail said that Brandon is allergic to bananas. The minister himself, while replying to Expressen, said that this is a kind of phobia from which he is suffering, but for him it is like an allergy. She is also taking medical help for this. Doctors don’t know how people become afraid of bananas, but they believe it may be linked to some childhood experiences.
