The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Day 2: Vikrant Massey’s film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has hit the theaters on November 15. The film, based on the fire incident that took place in Godhra, Gujarat in 2002, created a buzz after the trailer of this film was released. However, the earnings on the first day were not anything special. The film had a slow start.
The reason for this was the already present Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again at the box office along with the South film Kanguva which was released on 14th November. These films are already in theatres. Besides, Hollywood’s Gladiator 2 has also been released. Due to which the audience was in a position to select which films to watch and which not.
However, the film has gained some momentum on the second day and the first day of its first weekend i.e. today. The preliminary figures related to the film’s collection for the second day have also been revealed. So let us know how much the film has earned.
Box office collection of ‘The Sabarmati Report’
If we look at the first day’s earnings of the film, according to the official figures, it was Rs 1.69 crore. The initial figures of the second day available on Saknilk show that the film has earned Rs 1.04 crore till 7:00 pm. The total earning of the film has reached Rs 2.73 crore.

The story of the film is based on the Godhra incident in Gujarat that took place on 27 February 2002. Then coach S-6 of Sabarmati Express coming from Ayodhya was set on fire. In which 59 kar sevaks lost their lives. After this, communal riots broke out in Gujarat. The entire film is based on how the media covered this incident.
Star cast of ‘The Sabarmati Report’
Apart from Vikrant Massey, Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna have played important roles in the film. The film has been directed by Dheeraj Sarna. Vikrant Massey is seen playing the role of a journalist in the film.
