Ingredients to make Lauki Besan Chilla
Gram flour – 1 cup
Grated Bottle Gourd – 1 cup
Green chili chopped – 1
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Soda – 1 pinch
oil – as required
salt – as per taste

How to make Lauki Besan Chilla
To make lauki gram flour cheela, first wash the gourd with clean water and remove its skin with the help of a sieve. After this, grate the gourd in a vessel. Now filter the gram flour in a vessel. Now add grated bottle gourd to the gram flour and mix both well. After this add red chili powder, turmeric, soda, celery to the gram flour-gourd mixture and mix well.

Now add green chillies, green coriander and salt as per taste to the mixture, then add water little by little and prepare a thin batter. After this, heat a nonstick pan/tawa on medium heat. When the griddle gets hot, put some oil on it and spread it all around. Now take gourd-gram flour mixture in a bowl and put it in the center of the griddle and spread the cheela in a circular motion.

After roasting the cheela for some time, pour some oil on its edges and turn the cheela. After this apply some oil on the upper surface of the cheela.
