Usually the police have to work hard to catch thieves. Thieves cleverly commit theft and then disappear. But in Lucknow, the police caught a lazy thief on the spot. This thief had stolen goods worth lakhs from a house. But before running away, he was caught while taking a rest in the air of AC.
The case is from Indira Nagar Sector 20 in Lucknow. Police received information that a thief had entered a house. When police raided the house based on the information, the sound of snoring came from the drawing room of the house. Police immediately arrested him. The stolen goods were also recovered from the thief. He had used the same bag as a pillow and slept with the AC on.
He had come to steal while drunk
The incident is from Indira Nagar. Dr Sunil Pandey’s neighbours living in Sector 20 saw the door of his house open. After this, fearing something untoward, they informed the police about it. When the police came, they found the whole house in disarray. The cupboards of the house were open. All the stuff was scattered. Then their eyes fell on a person sleeping in the drawing room. As soon as they saw him, they understood that the thief had come to steal in an inebriated state.
The thief slept as soon as he got some rest
The AC of the drawing room was on. As soon as the thief got drunk and felt cold, he fell asleep there. The police came and arrested the thief. They also recovered the stolen goods from him. The police said that they are investigating the matter. They are also trying to find out which other houses the man has targeted.
