According to the report of thetravel.com, the length of McDonald Lake is 16 kilometers, width is 1.6 kilometers and depth is 472 feet. This lake is known for its clear water and the unique stones found on its shores, these unique stones are known as Rainbow Rocks.

The stones found in the lake can be of maroon, dark red, green, blue and other colors. When these stones are visible in the water, the beauty of the lake increases manifold.
