The woman fell asleep in the field after getting drunk, in the morning an unknown person saw the condition of her feet and was shocked!

Risks increase a lot after a certain time in the life of the elderly. At a time when they need their loved ones the most, there is a high possibility of them being away from them. In such a situation, an example of how much danger their life can be in was seen recently. A homeless woman had fallen asleep in a field after drinking alcohol. But in the morning, the unknown person was shocked when he saw that she had lost her legs.

This strange incident happened in Stavropol Kirai when a passerby found an elderly woman named Marina in a very heartbreaking condition. According to local reports, by the time Marina reached the hospital, the gangrene had already taken effect and both her remaining legs had been amputated.

Marina is now receiving treatment at the city’s homeless shelter, which is soon to be closed due to fire hazards. According to the Daily Star, Olga Shiryaeva, head of the Helping Hand shelter, says Marina has no documents and there is no one else she can contact.

In a country like Russia, people drink alcohol like a medicine, but then the risk of addiction increases, which also increases the chances of such accidents. (Symbolic picture: Canva)

Olga said Marina is making friends and is slowly recovering, but her family is not willing to talk to her. “They have nothing, and they have no place to go. Plus, they have to be carried wherever they go and they have to wear diapers that need to be changed,” she said.

Helping Hand Shelter contacted Marina’s brother but he said he had not spoken to her in years, and asked us not to call him again. He told us that ‘she has made her own decisions.’ Marina can talk well, can smoke on her own.
