In any school, it is the responsibility of the teachers to provide the best education to the students. For this, help of guest teachers is also taken in many schools. Similarly, guest teachers also teach in schools under Delhi Government. In support of which the Democratic Teachers Forum Delhi, representing guest teachers, has written a letter to Education Minister Atishi. In which it has been said by the forum that no guest teacher of Delhi government schools has received the salary for December. Apart from this, it has also been asked in the letter to amend the remuneration rates.

It has been said in the letter that guest teachers play an important role in teaching work. At present, every guest teacher gets about Rs 33 thousand per month. On this matter, a Delhi government official says that the highest remuneration in the country is given to guest teachers in Delhi, for whom there are no dues. But if any special case comes to light, we will investigate it thoroughly. The official said that the government is already considering the issue of revision in remuneration.

But Shoaib Rana, General Secretary of All India Guest Teachers Association, says that the December salary bills of guest teachers are pending with the Principal Accounts Office (PAO) since January 1. He said that usually the salary bill comes within a week of its issue. At the same time, the guest teachers have said that PAO officials had said that there is a server problem in the office since January 4, due to which the work will be affected for 12-13 days.
